Not all repairers are the same, not all logic board repairers are the same.

Today we are working on a iPhone 6s repaired at other repairer, let’s open it up.

Noticed that yellow tape and missing CPU shield?

I wonder what will the next screen repairer think when they see this. Here is the full jumper.

This is a problematic jumper. Why? Because it is too long, it didn’t to enough insulation, and it make the screen replacement very difficult.

And it damaged the nearby filter

Lets fix it. Removed that big long jumper and replaced with ours. But hey, where is the new jumper? It is just small.

Here it is, under microscope.

 

Put new CPU shield on.

Job done.
