People often think their iPhone 7/8/X are waterproof for some reason. They are not.

Today we are working on a water damaged iPhone 7.

After repair the logicboard.it booted up and seems functional as normal except home button.

Home button is caked with corrosion.

Remove the power supply chip on the flex and replace it. Problem solved.

The challenge was to work on IC that is on a flex cable
